About the Bride:
Cheryl grew up in Whitehouse, Ohio with her parents, Ron and Cindy, and younger sisters, Lisa and Becca. She graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in 1997. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and in 2007 with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. She is 30 years old and currently works as a clinical therapist for Harbor. Currently she is in the process of studying for her independent licensure exam. In her free time, she enjoys rollerblading, walking in the park, horseback riding, and spending time with friends and family.
About the Groom:
Nate grew up in Bellefontaine, Ohio with his parents, Jim and Elaine, younger sister Emily, and half siblings Megan and Torrie. He graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1999. He graduated from the University of Toledo in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering Technology, and in 2007 with a Master’s of Business Administration. He is 29 years old and currently works as a Security Enterprise Engineer for Dana. He has a part time position as a sports photographer for MAC Report Online. In his free time, Nate enjoys home brewing, snowboarding, photography, and spending time with friends and family.
Our Story:
Nate and Cheryl first met at a speed dating event at the Claddaugh Irish Pub at the Franklin Park Mall in Toledo on November 27, 2006 (one day before Nate’s birthday)! Cheryl’s friend Casey had asked her to come, and she figured it would be fun but really wasn’t expecting to meet anyone. Nate was so nervous about the speed dating event that he sat in his car for ten minutes trying to decide whether or not to go in. Cheryl and Nate hit it off right away and met for a date a couple weeks later - the rest is history!
The Wedding:
We are getting married May 22, 2010 in the beautiful Hankison Great Room at the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve in Perrysburg, Ohio. A reception will be held at St. George Orthodox Hall in Rossford, Ohio. We can’t wait for our friends and family to join us on our special day!
The Honeymoon:
After the wedding, on May 24, 2010 Nate and Cheryl will be embarking on a week long stay at the beautiful Sandals Grande Ocho Rios Resort in Jamaica.
A Special Message:
We both work very stressful jobs and couldn’t think of a better way to spend our honeymoon than relaxing together in a serene, tropical location. After researching Sandals and hearing so many good things about it, we decided this was the ideal place for a romantic, relaxing honeymoon. A heartfelt Thank You goes out to all our family and friends who are helping to make this time in our lives so special!
