About the Bride: Shelby grew up in Sylvania, Ohio and Garland, Texas. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and psychology. She received her teaching license in 2006 and is currently working on completing her master's degree in Education. Shelby is a first grade teacher for Sylvania Schools.
About the Groom: Mike grew up in Maumee, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor's degree in health education. He is working on his master's degree in Public Health. Mike previously taught health for Sylvania Schools. Currently, Mike works as a health advisor for Healthways in Toledo.
Our Story: We met in the spring of 2007 through mutual friends. We became engaged on July 25, 2007. Though our interests are quite different, we have been able to blend them quite nicely. Mike has exposed Shelby to the world of golf and hockey. Shelby has exposed Mike to the world of crayons, markers, and books with pictures!
The Wedding: The couple will be married exactly one year after they became engaged, July 25, 2008. The ceremony and reception will take place at Tamaron Country Club in Toledo. As far as the theme and festivities go...you'll have to wait and see!
The Honeymoon: The couple has chosen the romantic Sheraton Grand Bahama Our Lucaya Resort as their honeymoon destination. The Sheraton Grand Bahama Island Our Lucaya Resort is in the heart of Grand Bahama Island. 7.5 acres of sandy beaches, sparkling blue waters, tropical surroundings make this ideal to relax and enjoy quality time together.
